I have a client who has set a sales invoice with a future date on their 1st sales invoice of 31st January 2025 and the recurring has been set to the end of each month on the recurring invoice setup screen.
When they come to activate the recurring invoices, the first date is 3rd March (rather than 28th Feb) and then continues on 3rd every month into the future on the preview screen.
Change the Frequency option to End of Month.
Sales > Recurring invoices > VIEW the relevant recurring invoice > Modify Template > Frequency - select from the drop down list.
You may have to also change the Start Date
