Recurring Invoice

I am trying to set up my company for April 2016 which is the start of the year.
The software will not allow me to raise an invoice dated April 2016.

Can anyone help.

What errors are you seeing when trying to create an invoice?

Its just the date it pops back to todays date.

I have a suspicion that it may be related to this option in your advanced features:

You can find it (and disable it if you wish) by going to Account Settings >> Advanced Features.

All this feature does is update the date of the invoice to today, when you ‘send’ it. Turning it off will leave the date as you enter it. Normal restrictions apply to the dates (e.g. you can’t post an invoice in a locked accounting period for example).

Sorry I am afraid this has not worked.
Individual invoice will let us choose a historic date but not recurring

That’s correct. The recurring invoices need a start date in the future, as it’s treated as the first send date
