Recurring Profile - Ref No. Duplicated

I’ve just created 15 recurring profiles (manually, as I still can’t import them!) and out of those 15 9 share the reference number R000005 and another 5 share the reference R000006.

I think what’s happened here is I created a few new blank templates by middle clicking the create new profile button. It would appear that the reference number is created on that button click and it checks for saved profiles, whereas it should be updating the reference number when I click save.
