Remove GBP from Statement Export

How do i or can i, Remove the GBP from my statement print out ?
Also from the statement export to file, the GBP is added into the sum column IE: 15.00 GBP
The GBP messes up calculations in excel and i have to manually remove the GBP to work the column.
Or can this be done in Excel ?

I would assume that a statement can be tailored using CSS but I can see no obvious way to do this.

A simple Find and Replace isn’t exactly onerous, are you having a particular problem with Excel?
