I wish to ‘tidy up’ our chart of accounts and notices a feature to remove ‘Unused Accounts’.
This looks like just the ticket, but, before I take this action, can you confirm that unused means ‘Unused for all history’ in our ledgers.

That is correct, it will only allow you to remove nominal accounts that have no historic postings.
