Reports for different services

Hi, I want to find out the profit margin of the various services we provide. Is there a way to generate reports associated with them?

How are the different services entered?

Do they use a project reference on the sales and purchases?
Do the various services use specific nominal codes?

I wasn’t aware of this, We don’t use specific nominal codes for them or project references. What do you think would be the best way to go about it?
