I have been using quickfile for my account for 2014-2015.
I have gone through a simplified end of year process and journals are now stored.
My current account still shows figures for 2014-2015 and seems to have rolled over to this tax year. I there anyway I can reset my current account for 2015-2016 back to 0.00 in the dashboard?
Any money outstanding will still show in the dashboard, as will your bank balances because they’re all current.
What would have reset is your profit and loss, your chart of accounts etc. Is this not the case?
sorry parker, I’m not too sure what you mean? i have journaled all my figures for last year with the end of year tool.
As long as you’ve run that tool, then everything that needs to have been reset, will have been reset.
Your bank balance - it won’t change, it’s supposed to match your current bank balance
Your money owed - it’s still owed, so it won’t reset
Money you owe - again, still owed, so it won’t reset
What part of the dashboard are you expecting to reset, but hasn’t? Post a screenshot if it helps (obviously, block out any figures)
