Roll Back Request

Good Morning

I’ve made that many mistakes this morning that I just seem to be compounding the problem and I now have alterations in parts of the accounts which should be locked!! Could I kindly request a roll back to the last back up at 21 Feb 2018 00:43

Unfortunately there isn’t a rollback option within QuickFile.

The backups I believe you’re referring to are full system backups for disaster recovery (e.g system failure).

What sort of mistakes have you made? Most errors can be corrected - maybe someone from these forums could advise on the best way to tackle them if you’re happy to share a few more details.

Hi, I’ve just taken over from somebody else and tbh I’m not sure what I’ve done myself!!

The good news is, the majority of changes are recorded. If you go to Account Settings >> All Settings >> Event Log, this will list who changed what and when. Although it doesn’t list the full details of what’s been changed (e.g. price x was updated to price y on invoice), it should hopefully give you a good starting point.
