Running the Year End

I think our outgoing treasurer has not run the Year End Tool for a couple of years.

I am about to run the year end for 31/12/2016. Do I have to run the year end in respect of each of the earlier years as well?

Hi @Mike

The year end tool will only create a journal for the accounting year in the drop down list. You would need to run it for the previous years individually.

If they’re not in the list, you should be able to move the lock in your Account Settings >> All Settings >> Account lock date, and also adjust your next year end date in Account Settings >> Company Settings. They should then appear for you.
