Safari compatibility

I’ve been using QuickFile for a couple of years now and find it to be easy to use and appropriate for the needs of my small Limited Company. However, what sometimes frustrates me a little is the apparent lack of some functionality when I use my default browser, Safari.

For instance, when compiling invoices the red cross for line deletion does not appear and neither does the icon that can be used to re-order lines (although this latter task is possible if I move my mouse pointer to the right place as the icon is there but invisible). From time to time I find myself switching to Chrome to perform these actions but it would be simpler just to have everything to hand in Safari.

In the grand scheme of things this is little more than a minor irritation but I wondered if other users had had similar issues and whether there might be a fix.

Hi @Andrew_Ashford

Apologies for any difficulties you’re experiencing - this isn’t something that’s come up recently that I’m aware of.

Do you see any of these icons if you view an invoice?

The vast majority of our icons uses a library called Font Awesome, which is a common scenario for many web based applications. It’s possible your browser is blocking these from loading. It has been known for adblockers to block these, but that was a good while ago.

Any screenshots would definitely help us here, it’s not something I’m aware of but occasionally some browser updates or extensions can result in unusual behaviour.
