Sale and Purchases report or screen for each month/whole year

Hi, my old accounts package had a home screen that would show each month of the current financial year and then show sales and purchases each month so at a glance I could see how well the month was going and how well the year was going. Is there a similar report or screen in QuickFile I cant seem to find one?.. example of what I mean is attached (not my accounts, wish it was )

It doesn’t include the VAT, but I came up with something similar using the “custom reports” section:

If you select “months” and then click the bar chart button at the top then you should get more or less what you’re asking for:

We don’t have a report that looks exactly like that, but we have one which is somewhat similar. The Segmented Profit and Loss report, which is available to those with a Power User Subscription, gives you a P&L report but based on the time frame you specify - months, quarters or years. Here’s an example I took from our original blog post when we updated it:

It’s a bit more detailed, doesn’t include VAT and not so much an overview, but perhaps it would help?
