I have opened an account purely to submit quarterly invoices and receipts for MTD purposes. I have no interest in using the QF invoicing system or anything else. I can see how to scan and submit my receipts, but how can I scan and submit my invoices? Thank you.

You can scan purchase invoice with the App or upload them in the receipt hub. this creates invoice records which in turn are pulled into the MTD ITSA returns.
You sales would either have to be entered manually or imported via CSV, if you are on cash accounting you would also need to record the payment details of the invoices which in turn are pulled into the MTD ITSA returns.
Once you have registered with HMRC for MTD ITSA you can connect your HMRC MTD ITSA account in the Reports > HMRC Connections screen.
