Sending an invoice

Can I just ask, is it possible to send an invoice to a client with an email address ending .ie?

Hello @gardenman_2803

There is no reason why you couldn’t from our software.

Are you having issues doing so?

I sent an invoice at approx 4.30 pm yesterday and the client emailed this morning to say he could not find it in his inbox or junk. I sent it again half and hour ago and have asked for confirmation on whether it is received or not. Will advise.

Hi @gardenman_2803

Have you managed to get confirmation on whether the email was received yet?

No, it has not reached the client using his .ie email address nor using his @gmail.com email. I have double and treble-checked that I have set these up correctly, and I have, so it is rather odd that I have been unsuccessful on both occasions. Not sure how to resolve this one…

Hello @gardenman_2803

If you can email their Gmail account or the @xx.ie address directly but not via QuickFile the recipient may have some sort of security blocking QuickFile or preventing incoming emails in some way (spam filters)

It may be best to check with them.

I can see some emails with @xx.ie being sent from our end (no bounces detected) so it is recognising the email exists.

You could try sending them the email with the PDF attached rather than an embedded link.
