My situation is that I look after clients’ weddings. Hypothetically, John Smith is getting married on the 15th August 2023. I want him to pay:
A Booking Fee of £50 now
Followed by the balance of, say, £500 on 8th August 2023 (a week before the wedding)
Can I do that in one invoice?
You can state the amounts and the dates within the invoice but you can’t have multiple due dates on one invoice.
You could have the booking fee of £50 as the first invoice total and then in the notes section have the amounts that will be due and the dates that they’ll be due to then create those invoices and send them in the future
