I am struggling to work out how to set up sales invoices (using individual transactions from paypal)
I don’t want to have to manually generate an invoice for every sale.
Basically I may have average 5 large sales per day that come from ebay via paypal. I would like to record individually rather than cash register sales.
I also purchase most of my stock via paypal/ebay and need to do the same for purchases via paypal.
You can just use a generic description as eBay would likely generate an invoice for the sale (although double check that this is the case).
Bulking them up of the common thing to do, but if you want to continue recording them individually you can use a generic client too such as “eBay sales”.
How you create these invoices depends on your workflow. If you’re working from your PayPal feed it may be best to use the tagging option and creating the invoice at the same time.
