Share capital issuing error

Hi everyone!

I have accidently issued my original share capital to my partners, directors loan account. I went via Journal and issued original share capital and i didn’t see anywhere his name. Am i able to correct this?

Hello @vik198724

You can correct this in two ways

1. You could reverse the journal
   This involves posting again on same date with opposite Debits and Credits.

2. Delete the Journal (recommended)
   If you go into one of the nominal accounts via Reports > Chart of Accounts.
   Find the journal and click on the link in the Description, it will bring up the whole journal.
   Click Delete this Journal.
