I am a new user of quickfile with simple accounting requirements. I am very impressed with the application / features / 2FA / AWS etc. this is the only bug I have spotted.
Settings → Management Information → Add Share Capital → Settings → Nominal Value → set £0.001 (ie less than a penny) → Saving is allowed, but and value is silently rounded to zero. Generate a dividend certificate → notice Nominal Value on certificate is shown as £0.00.
I believe that nominal values less than 1p are valid. I believe dividend certificates with a nominal value of zero are invalid.
There is a work around as the nominal value in the dividend certificate can be manually edited.
