Hi @n_halabi
Obviously, I’m going to be a bit biased with this and say of course you should join ;). But I’ll certainly try and address your points for you to help you make an informed decision. I’m sure other users will comment too.[quote=“n_halabi, post:1, topic:17002”]
I have accountants that I pay monthly where they complete all bookkeeping services and company accounts including tax returns, corporation tax, quarterly vat, paye etc.
Can quickfile help me complete these?

QuickFile will allow you to input all your sales and purchases through simple forms that can run in a web browser, meaning it’s also accessible from anywhere with an internet connection. This would help you save on your bookkeeping costs. VAT returns are automatically calculated based on the data enter, and with a few clicks, you can easily submit these straight to HMRC from within your account too.
That said, I wouldn’t necessarily say you should drop your bookkeeping services. I would also consider the complexity of your business (do you trade outside of the UK, does your VAT return need to account for some of the more complex matters, etc.). But for most businesses, they are straight forward enough to do yourself. And of course, we’re at hand to help you use QuickFile.
It can produce the figures needed for the tax returns, but these should normally be left to someone more qualified (e.g. an accountant) who would advise on the best way to submit these. Within QuickFile, we operate a comparison service and offer you to read reviews and place a direct order with a panel of accountants. Many users are finding this is saving them money in the long run too.
I would probably wait until the end of your accounting period, just to make things more straightforward for yourself. You may need to do a bit of mish-mash with some figures for the first month or so, but then you should be able to power ahead with QuickFile alone.
Do they use any other accounting packages at the moment? If you were able to obtain a Trial Balance, this would be the best way to begin, but it isn’t required. We have a start up guide here which outlines some of the routes that may help.
I hope that helps!
