I am still struggling filing my VAT return via quick file. HMRC are saying it’s your fault, and you are saying it’s their fault and I am stuck in the middle. You closed these replied, even when it’s not even sorted. I am so annoyed now. I have filed my VAT return via your system for years and suddenly I cannot do this anymore, WHY?

Just to clarify, however, as we mentioned in the private message, the "not yet authorised to view this report for VRN #########"
message you are seeing is supplied by HMRC. They are denying access to the VAT returns for that VAT number, using the linked HMRC account.
9/10 times this is as a result of the wrong HMRC account being linked, but we can’t see any more than what you see unfortunately. The advice from HMRC is to contact the VAT Helpline.
If they are saying everything is set up correctly, it could just be that they’re looking at a different HMRC account to the one that’s been linked on our end. Removing and re-adding the account usually resolves this.
