Is there a way to stop project tags being automatically copied over when using the “make a copy” feature of sales invoices? We have recently started to use the project tags to highlight when an invoice has been allocated against time on a separate software, and its proving very useful, but I am aware when we come to next year and copy over the annual invoices for clients the tags will copy over as well and I want to try and avoid any being missed if possible.

This is not possible at present, “make a copy” means copy everything from the old invoice, you can then adjust the copy to suit your needs (remove the project tags).
If any are missed, you can search sales invoices for the tag and by date and update the tags to remove them.
