Hi We have 2 users on our quickfile account. Proprietor and myself, the assistant. The proprietor has paid the subscription and his account is fine when he logs in. When I log in though I get a yellow warning bar saying " Your account is graded L and will require an active subscription…" What is happening here?

To be sure, I would ask the proprietor to double check the Power User subscription has been paid for which is £45+VAT.
If you are seeing the bar then it will appear for them too, they may have just not fully noticed it.
They may well have purchased the bank feed subscription but this is separate to the PUS required for Large accounts.
If you go to Account Settings > All Settings and then chose 
You will be able to see what has been purchased to check
