My subscription expires today 31st January, which I would expect to be midnight given Im in the UK and quickfile is a UK company. However, this afternoon QF very kindly ended my subscription in the middle of filing my tax return.
Despite not wanting to renew for another year, I reluctantly renewed the subscription this evening so I could access the relevant figures etc HOWEVER, after paying the fee I STILL cannot access any info?
Does anyone have any idea how long it takes to activate the subscription once money has been taken? I was hoping it was as quick as they ended my subscription?
Sorry to hear you’ve experienced some issues here. We’ll try our best to help resolve these for you.
The subscription is typically for 1 year (let’s assume it is for simplicity). When the subscription purchase is confirmed, we literally add 1 year to it. So if you purchased it at 2:32pm, it would expire at 2:32pm on the day of expiry.
However, we won’t log you out if you’re active on your account. The subscription is checked at the point of logging in, so if you’re already logged in, you can continue. Only if you’ve been inactive will we log you out (for security).
When you renew, this should update all ok, but in some cases you will need to log out and back in again. This will repeat the check I mentioned above.
