Supplier VAT Number Field Size

Is it possible to have the VAT number field size extended a little to allow for long EU VAT Numbers ?

I have one which is a NL VAT Number, but the field size is 2 Chars Short of fitting it all in.

We’ve just extended the supplier VAT Registration field from 12 to 20 characters.
