Suspense account full of matching tagged transactions

H, my suspense account has about 50 transactions, all have the matching transaction and all look like they are tagged to another transaction in the suspense account.

so

23/09/2020 - DIRECT DEBIT PAYMENT - THANK YOU-------------------------CR- 850.98
23/09/2020 - MBNA LIMITED------------------------------------------De 850.98

Both look like they are tagged to each other when I follow the links

I thought it emptied this account as payments were tagged.

I don’t think it does. So long as it balances and the result is zero it shouldn’t matter.
