Syncing items from the HSBC feed

HI

The feed to HSBC bank is no longer working - it worked fine up till June last year. I only log in to do end of year accounts as I have a very small business. I logged in last week and found I need to pay for the service - which is ok - its been great up till now. However I find there is no longer a working feed from HSBC as there used to be and using the chrome extension to ‘export statement to quickfile’ also doesn’t seem to work - no error messages, just no transactions are put in quick file.

Please help? Is it because its been so long since I logged in, or has something changed because I am paying now?

I’ve just run a test with the plug in using HSBC, and it’s imported all OK.

The key thing to make sure of is that all your details are correct in the ‘Settings’ tab. However, if there are any incorrect details (such as the secure key code is wrong), then HSBC should present you with an error.

But its still not working for me - all the keys are correct and I can login with the quickfile plug in as I always do, it says export complete - but nothing is showing up on my quickfile account. There seems to be nothing wrong with the settings on the quickfile bank plug in - and no errors - also no transactions are imported. Please help - would it be easier if you were able to look at the actual accounts?

I can certainly check your account and logs to see if there are any issues showing there.

I’ve found an account I believe is yours, ending in 065. Can you confirm if this is correct please?

I can see a few transactions pending confirmation on this account. These are found under the red notification bar in the top right hand corner:

These are the ones that’s come from HSBC. You would just need to confirm them and they’ll then appear in the bank account you selected.
