Tagging loan introduction

Hi there

I’ve entered loan given to the company by the director as “money in”. This loan is shown in the suspense account on P&L. The loan is not showing on the bank account as untagged - that’s the first anomaly!
However I can view this transaction through the suspense account and when I try to tag it into director’s loan account, I’m getting error message - “you cannot post to the same nominal ledger as this bank account”. What does this mean?

Where have you entered the money in for the bank? if the loan is showing as tagged, where is it showing that it’s tagged to?

Thanks for your reply. Actually I figured out what I’ve done wrong and have correct it now.
