How would this feature be used?
I could easily match 4001 codes to 5001 codes for income and Purchases and 4000/5000 to have them match headings. Change Sales to Income, Overheads to Expenditure - therefore creating Income and Expenditure reports

These amendments would allow the users to have the COA more suited to any business without wasting existing codes.
