Trial Balance still showing last year's sales/expenses

Hi can someone help me?
I have run a year end for my company as I am now going to do the accounts to 28/02/2016.
The trial balance is still showing last years sales and expenses, they do not seemed to have been closed off and transferred to retained profit.
I’m not sure what I have done wrong?

Have you done year end journal under Account Settings >Year End Process

hi yes i have. So now when i go to the year end section it says there is no period to close off so i assume it’s closed it off.

Previous year’s figures are journalled to 3101 Retained Profit & Undistributed Reserves by the year end tool.

Are you seeing them as part of this figure, or are they listed elsewhere? If they are elsewhere, please also check the date range that you are viewing it for.

i don’t see an account 3101 i just see a list of sales and then all the different types of expenses.So i assume it has not closed all these off to account 3101for some reason?

the date range i am viewing is for a range i have made no entries for as yet. The only thing that should be showing as a closing balance on the TB is the balances b/f??
but mine is all the opening balances -no transactions-closing balance. The same figures go across to the closing balance columns.
