I run a small aircraft syndicate so need to invoice flying hours to all members including myself as treasurer. However when I try to also register myself as I client it fails as my email address is the same. Is there any way around this other than having to have two different emails?

You can not have a client with the same email as the admin.
For your scenario you would either have to have different email addresses or just export your invoice as a PDF rather than emailing it.
