I’m having trouble uploading my HSBC bank statement and keep getting an error stating
We are having some problems mapping your file
Please contact us if you need any help!.
I have tried changing the columns to check they are all still matching but it still isn’t working.
It seems to work fine when I activated the automation bank feed but I am still missing the July transactions which I guess I need to do manually but It won’t let me?!

Sorry to hear you’re having issues with this.
Have you tried uploading the file with “Other” selected as the bank? This will allow you to manually map the columns.

I have found when using the HSBS website the downloaded file if picked from the main screen maps correctly to the “HSBC” Bank Import Statement Tool in QF, but on occasions there is a necessity to refer back to older statements; these do not map to the QF import tool and as @QFMathew has already posted the Bank Statement Tool “Other” allows for you to do your own mapping of columns. Just one of those odd querks that we have to deal with but easily resolved.
