I have always posted my vat returns by the end of the month following the end of a vat period. In this case, by the 28th February 2023. However, on my QF dashboard it says “by the 7th March 2023”. Why is this and when did this happen? Also, is this for both the return and payment?.

The deadline for submitting your return online is usually one calendar month and 7 days after the end of an accounting period. This is also the deadline for paying HMRC.
