VAT Link to HMRC


My VAT has been happily linked to HMRC but this quarter the software is saying the account has failed and has not sent my vat return. I go through the process of connecting again but still the message is failed. I see that the link last 18 months so I assume that is why it has disconnected? What else do I need to do to connect it back please?

There’s quite a few detailed reponses to the many recent threads on this, but completely disconnecting and reconnecting again is usually the fix.
