In our last Vat return we noticed that the Vat owed had been calculated incorrectly.
What had happened was that one invoice in euros when converted back to pounds did not process correctly.
The goods part of the invoice was correctly converted back into sterling but the VAT amount did not change and the original euros amount was posted into our vat return without being converted into sterling.
Previous similar invoices and subsequent ones all processed correctly.
Have you come across this issue before?
We had to manually adjust our Vat return in order to submit the correct Vat figures.
