Vat repayment HMRC send cheque?

Hi
I have two companies, each housebuilders, with VAT returns quarterly and repayments from HMRC.
on one we have VAT credited back to our bank account in what I think is the normal way, but on the second we receive a cheque from HMRC a week or two later. The VAT return page on quickfile looks different as well

Any clue what is going on?

It’s possible you have two different vat return styles on each account. But the refund method is down to hmrc not quickfile.

Appreciate that it must be down to HMRC
Just odd to have 2 different return styles when cos. are similar

As long as they keep sending repayments through I won’t worry
