VAT Return not preparing

Morning all,

I am trying to complete my VAT return but when going to create a VAT return it shows that the period is open to prepare but when clicked on it just tries connecting to HMRC and doesn’t go any further. This is after already connecting to HMRC to show me the VAT returns prepare/filed.

I did have a request to extend Quickfile’ access to HMRC which I did successfully as far as I can see. Does anyone have any other thoughts?

If you go to Reports >> HMRC then you should be able to see if the link is all ok and if not there will show an error

Status was good and still is. But I have just tried it again and it has gone through.

At least it has worked.
