VAT Return submission not gone through

My first VAT return has not been submitted to HMRC despite QuickFile showing that it has been submitted. It is urgent that this VAT return is submitted.

Can I check a few things here?

  • Was this submitted using MTD or the older submission process?
  • What is the status of the VAT return on QuickFile (e.g. “SUBMITTED”, “SAVED”, “ERROR”)?
