VAT Return Via Quickile

Hi Just a quick question on Vat returns.
When you Click the Submit Return on here does it go to HMRC as last time i done my return directly from my HMRC account so if i do that and click the return on here will HMRC not be getting duplicates?

If you have saved your online filing credentials in the VAT Settings area within QuickFile you will see an option like this on the VAT return.

Checking this box will electronically send the return to HMRC. As for duplicates, I’m not sure HMRC will allow this, I believe you will receive an error something like “VAT return already received for this period”.
