why am I getting this message? Does the pdf no longer get attached?

We could not find the token @DirectInvoiceLink@. Without this token your client will have no link to the document you are sending.

There are 2 ways for a client to view an invoice within QuickFile:

  • View a PDF attachment
  • View it online through a link

The warning you are seeing refers to the link. There are added benefits of the link which you may want to consider, such as you can see when a client has viewed it and they can make online payments (if you have this set up).

If you don’t use this feature and attach all your PDF invoices, then you can safely ignore the warning.
