We have an unincorporated group which has a community bank account with Santander. The group isn’t registered as a charity or anything - what is the best ‘business type’ to select?

If the group is not a legal entity in its own right then probably partnership is the closest option.

You will be liable for corporation tax so I think that a ltd company is more appropriate.
