Year end period not showing up

I’m trying to close off the year end which ended 31/7/2014. When I go to the simple year end tool it shows the years from 2008-2013, but not 2014.

I’ve tried closing 2013 to see if that would help, but it won’t let me do anything because there are no journals to make - we didn’t have any transactions prior to 31/7/2013.

Am I missing something?


If you go to Account Settings >> Company Settings, what is the next year-end date configured on your account?

Thanks for the quick response, sorry I haven’t responded sooner, did get/missed the notification.
It’s set to 31/07/2013, so presumably if I just change that it’ll work ok?
