I have been using Quickfile for a few months with my own SMTP server (provided to me via Easyspace/IOMartmail). Up until a week ago, it was working fine. Unfortunately, it now seems to be causing an issue.
I have reauthenticated the settings a few times and though an initial test send through the system works, after that, I receive the following email:
Subject: Your STMP settings are deactivated.
We have been unable to send a number of items through your own custom SMTP email server. The last 3 consecutive attempts failed. The error recorded is as follows:
Email: noreply@quickfile.co.uk Error: The specified string is not in the form required for a subject.
Please return to the SMTP settings page on your QuickFile account (Account Settings Area). If you have recently changed your email password or any other credentials please update and reactivate your SMTP services accordingly.

Likewise, the SMTP Email settings page in Quickfile also shows a similar message:
It looks like there was a problem reaching your SMTP service
Error Message Your SMTP settings are deactivated as there were three consecutive errors . Please correct the settings again and reactivate.
More Details The specified string is not in the form required for a subject.
I have tried sending an e-mail from the account associated with the SMTP server I am using and it sends successfully. Having spoken to the provider of the SMTP server, they suggested that if my sending via mail client was working, the issue would appear not to be on the SMTP server.
Any ideas? I really do need people to be able to directly reply to my Quickfile sent e-mails, so using my own SMTP server does make sense. However, I need said messages to actually get through and at the moment, they appear not to be doing so.
Thanks
Ed
