We have now extended the automatic credit control system to allow specific invoice reminders to be CC’d to a custom email address or the default account administrator. This means you can still run things on auto-pilot but with an extra backstop to ensure that you are notified when invoices reach a certain age.
You will find these new options in the Credit Control settings page:
Account Settings >> All Settings >> Automated invoice reminders
You will now see a “Copy me in” check box for each overdue stage along with a text box to provide a custom email address.
Please bear in mind that these additional settings only appear when you have the “Auto-Send Reminders” option switched on. Without Auto-Send on, your overdue reminders will simply trigger a dashboard notification, you can then manually vet and send the emails.
