PayPal Feed Bank Transfer Tagging

I’ve run into problems tagging transfer from my bank account to my PayPal account feed data. It seems to have created duplicate entries in my bank account which I believe is because I was perhaps tagging entries in my PayPal feed before I had imported my bank account data?

Having read the Knowledge base I’m still not clear on how I should handle this. I’ve just ticked in PayPal feed settings ‘Ignore transfers to bank’ but I’m not sure if this solves my issue or maybe I should be doing Glenn’s suggestion on this post which maybe out of date now. By default the feed will pull in all transfers.

Ticking the box “ignore transfers to bank” will only import the transaction itself (e.g. the sale or purchase transaction) and will ignore any transfers to your bank account. This allows you to tag it manually as and when you need to.
