I note when posting Purchase Invoices onto the ledger that I can only post using ‘today’s’ date as the latest possible date. When I am posting rent invoices for example, that are received on the 15th February but date and relate to the month of March, I am unable to post this invoice using the March date. I must wait until the 1st of March arrives before I can post the invoice into the system. Is this correct? Am I missing something? It’s not the end of the world as I can hold it on file, but I am just curious why this is currently the case.
