What you would need to do is save the VAT return on QuickFile, matching the figures you’ve submitted to HMRC: VAT returns submitted manually
If you’ve enabled MTD on your account, you would need to disable this in the first instance, otherwise you’ll be bound by the periods HMRC are expecting.
