Can’t return VAT

You’ve definitely connected the correct Government Gateway account? Some people have more than one ID on the gateway, one used for VAT and another for personal taxes. If you log in to tax.service.gov.uk/business-account with the same gateway ID you used when connecting to QuickFile, do you have a section that looks like this:

Thank you I have checked the Gateway Id via your link. I do have more than one but the one I have entered on Quickfile links in to my VAT and I am able to view my VAT certificate and other details via the tax.service link you you sent earlier. Any other suggestions please?

That may be true. But that may also indicate your old vat login prior to MTD. Please login to your other gateway accounts and check if one of them are for MTD vat.
