End of year account wages

If any payment is from liability account 2220 Net Wages, then bank payment should be tagged to 2220 Net Wages and it should reduce balance

It not reducing it, It is showing on there but taking it away. Is there some that can look at it on my account?

I have done that and it looks like the wage payment is going to NET Staff Salaries Paid even thou I am tagging it as net wages?

I have just detagged and tried NET Staff Salaries Paid as a tagging and it goes to 7003 the same as Net wages so I think it might be a issue with the system?

I think its a bug here in system , its not allocating payment to net wages account from bank screen

You need to do journal for paying net wages

Dr 2220 Net wages a/c

Cr Bank

Can you journal wages to go on march accounts which will be for hours worked in April, but these working hours in April are to complete work that was invoiced for in march?

undo year end journals and re enter correct year end date

I have gone into the year end journal but it wont let me change the date, also the save journal entry at the bottom have gone.

Make sure you have not locked the year end, see in Account Settings > Account lock date. If there is any date just delete it and save it
Now go to Reports, Journals and click on view journals related to this year end you did, try change the date if not delete them and redo year end process with correct year end date

It wont let me delete the account lock date as there is a journal and the journal wont let me delete it?

I’ve manually removed the locks on the account and updated the Y/E journal to 31st March. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Once you are done with year end process ,its good idea to lock it
