Hi @deepakverma ,
You sign up for an Affinity account with Quickfile and you can see all your clients businesses through this. Works a treat for us.

@Bagpipe Thanks Paul.
I already have account with quickfile. Do I need to create another account for affinity?

Hi,
Yes. The account you’ve got is for your business (I guess). Affinity is a different type of account, mainly for bookkeepers and accountants, to see and manage all their clients accounts on one place with one login. If you want you can connect your quickfile account, where you keep your accounting firms records, to your affinity account. This way you can see your account and your clients account in one place under one login.

Thanks @rhc
I noticed that Payroll is not built in Quickfile. Which payroll company is more economical for running payroll for 3-4 employees?

Good morning,
It depends on what you expect from your payroll provider. For example Brightpay and the Payroll site have a direct integration to Quickfile which is very handy but both ask for a monthly fee. The Payroll Site doesn’t look as pretty as Brightpay but is a very good software.
12Cloud Payroll is free for up to 9 employees, but has ads and looks dated (if the look is important for you, I don’t mind). Iris Basic Payroll is also free for up to 9 employees but it is indeed very basic and looks completely different to the paid version.
Capium and Shape are free for up to 3 employees. I am sure there are more free or low budget payroll software, just shop around.

Hope this helps a bit

I used to use mypaye.co.uk who charge £1 per employee per month. They don’t have a direct integration with QuickFile but they do provide their own API that you can use to pull the payroll data - I wrote my own bespoke integration to map that to a payroll journal in QuickFile which I’m happy to share if it’s of wider interest.
