Importing invoices - how can I do it as an Excel file?

i have uploaded invoice to quickfile as a csv file but cant now work how to do it as a exel file as it says i have to put heading s in do i need a good understanding of exel to do this

QuickFile doesn’t support Excel files themselves (.xls or .xlsx), but it does support the .csv format which is compatible.

When you save the file in Excel (or another spreadsheet package), if you select Save As, you’ll have an option to select the format. Simple Select Comma Separated Values (.csv) as the format (may also be called Comma Split Values, and that will save a compatible file for you.

You shouldn’t need a great understanding of Excel, but a general understanding would help.
