I have a journal entry which has become locked. It says it is linked to a parent journal but when I click through that journal isn’t locked. I deleted all the year end journals for that year but it still remains locked. I need to change the description - the journal is auto generated and has the wrong month/year in the description.
My account is 6131401180 the journal is: 07/02/2017 April 2016 Pension

It looks like this journal in question is an automatic reversal from the one dated 07/04/2016. There’s more info on these in the knowledge base, but the following part should be of some help:

Ah, got it. I needed to clear the auto reverse date on the parent, that worked. Thanks for your help.
